This benchmark intermediate level course is regarded by many Organisations as a ‘must attend’ for in-house investigators and/or those who could become involved with investigations. In addition, those seeking Full Membership by examination (as opposed to full membership via the assisted election scheme) of the Institute of Industrial Accident Investigators must have completed it, and it is also one of the mandatory components for IIAI Diploma, MIIAI CertLI and IIAI Fellowship purposes.

Pre-Learning Requirements

Delegates must have completed the IIAI Foundation Certificate in Industrial Accident Investigation and Analysis prior to attending the LAIC course. Note: the cost of the on-line version of the Foundation is included in the cost below for those who need to complete it or refresh it.

Duration

Three consecutive days.

Examination

Practical assessments and IIAI administered examination.

Entry Requirements

Delegates should be suitably qualified and/or experienced in their particular fields.

Cost to IIAI Members

£675 pp plus VAT.

Includes course materials, IIAI examination packs, IIAI Foundation course for those who require it, teas/coffees, refreshments and lunches. Excludes accommodation.

Cost to Non-members

A limited number of non-member places are available at the member rate. Please note, however, that we are contracted by the IIAI to deliver a limited number of courses each year and most fill quickly. Please, therefore, register your interest as early as possible.
